Hyatt Tahoe Provisions - Market Attendant - Year Round - Full-Time in INCLINE VILLAGE, Nevada
Description:
The Market Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient service while supporting daily operations of our on-site market. This role includes preparing and serving coffee, handling basic food service tasks, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the space, and operating the cash register.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages to standard.
Heat and serve pre-made food items using approved equipment and safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the market, including restocking shelves, wiping surfaces, and ensuring product displays are tidy and appealing.
Operate the point-of-sale system to complete guest transactions accurately and efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
Monitor food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Support inventory management by notifying management of low stock items.
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a cashier, barista, or food service role preferred.
Strong customer service skills and a professional, positive demeanor.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
Must be organized, dependable, and detail oriented.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
