Oracle Senior Software Engineer in HYDERABAD, India
Job Description
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 6+ years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities
We are looking for experienced software engineers who will be part of the development group in the IGIU Unit which is focused on developing enterprise level solutions for our customers.
You will be joining a high performing cross-functional team that will operate in the platform area. We leverage an agile development methodology (scrum) to facilitate the development of our products. Our development practices include empowered scrum teams, continuous build and integration, and a heavy emphasis on testing early and often.
Our team's mission is to develop and enhance platform services that develop a Smart Construction Platform for IGIU products and beyond while taking Oracle Cloud (OCI), security and scalability into consideration.
Responsibilities:-
Good communication skills across all business levels.
Participate in code reviews to identify any performance-hogging code changes.
Build scalable, reliable, well-architected software
Deliver high-value software in a highly collaborative environment
Fast learner and continuously looking to learn new technologies and ways to solve problems
Provide technical leadership to other software developers
Desirable Skills:-
Knowledge on Core Java & Java Server-side technologies
Have hands on experience in front end development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Well versed with Micro Services – Design Principles
Good to have experience on Kafka and Akka framework.
Worked with Docker images and Docker Compose Setup.
Experience in Kubernetes is good to have.
