Job Description
Oracle Energy and Water is seeking Senior/Principal Software Engineers to join our dynamic and innovative team. Required Skills and Experience:
4-15 years of experience with a focus on computing fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and API design.
Excellent design and coding skills in Java, J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, TypeScript, jQuery, Knockout, OJET, React, RequireJS, and SASS.
Proven experience in designing and building large-scale, highly consistent, and available distributed systems (CAP/PACELC).
Expertise in using software design patterns and principles.
Proficiency in NoSQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, GIT, Shell, Bash, and related technologies.
Strong skills in Linux, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, and CNCF technologies (Microservices, gRPC, REST, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Kafka, Streams, and Jaeger).
Preferred Optional Skills:
- Experience with Python, Ruby, or Go.
Educational Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.
Interview Format:
- Hands-on coding (algorithms, data structures) and Systems Design.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks.
Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems.
Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
Specify, design, and implement changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Work with globally distributed agile teams and a wide variety of stakeholders to meet team's deliverables.
Demonstrate leadership, ownership, and effective communication while handling assignments.
