Oracle Senior Software Engineer in HYDERABAD, India

Job Description

Oracle Energy and Water is seeking Senior/Principal Software Engineers to join our dynamic and innovative team. We are continuously crafting cutting-edge solutions for our customers and looking to expand our team with talented individuals excited to contribute in a fast-paced, agile, and technically challenging environment within the best enterprise cloud company.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4-15 years of experience with a focus on computing fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and API design.

  • Excellent design and coding skills in Java, J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, TypeScript, jQuery, Knockout, OJET, React, RequireJS, and SASS.

  • Proven experience in designing and building large-scale, highly consistent, and available distributed systems (CAP/PACELC).

  • Expertise in using software design patterns and principles.

  • Proficiency in NoSQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, GIT, Shell, Bash, and related technologies.

  • Strong skills in Linux, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, and CNCF technologies (Microservices, gRPC, REST, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Kafka, Streams, and Jaeger).

Preferred Optional Skills:

  • Experience with Python, Ruby, or Go.

Educational Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.

Interview Format:

  • Hands-on coding (algorithms, data structures) and Systems Design.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks.

  • Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems.

  • Provide technical leadership to other software developers.

  • Specify, design, and implement changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

  • Work with globally distributed agile teams and a wide variety of stakeholders to meet team's deliverables.

  • Demonstrate leadership, ownership, and effective communication while handling assignments.
