Senior QA Engineer
Aequilibriums seeks a Senior QA Engineer with experience on the Backbase digital banking platform! This role combines deep manual and automated testing expertise with a proven track record in leading QA processes and teams. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in developing and implementing QA strategies for web-based applications, emphasizing automation and continuous integration.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of web and mobile applications.
Lead automation efforts using Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, and other modern testing frameworks.
Design, maintain, and execute test cases and scripts across different software development life cycle stages.
Utilize various programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript to enhance testing processes.
Manage manual and automated testing environments, ensuring effective coverage and quick turnaround.
Integrate QA processes into the CI/CD pipeline, collaborating closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployments.
Conduct performance, regression, and security testing to identify potential issues.
Troubleshoot, track, and escalate issues efficiently using tools like JIRA, Git, and Rally.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, applying best practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills:
Experience integrating and customizing the BackBase digital banking platform for financial services clients.
Proven experience in QA automation and leadership roles.
Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Java, and other automation tools.
Strong background in software development and software QA methodologies.
Proficient with code versioning tools and Agile methodology.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well in a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud services like AWS and Azure.
Knowledge of financial services or banking applications.
Experience in mobile testing using Appium or similar tools.
Familiarity with containerization and microservices architectures.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in QA automation or related fields.
