Designation: Sr. Automation Engineer
Introduction: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation, with at least 3 years dedicated to utilizing the Cucumber framework. This role demands a deep technical proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python, as well as comprehensive expertise in test automation tools and frameworks, including Selenium WebDriver.
As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the highest level of quality in our software products. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into our CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless deployments. A thorough understanding of RESTful API testing and experience with tools like Postman or RestAssured is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Cucumber framework and Gherkin language.
Utilize Selenium WebDriver and other test automation tools to enhance our testing processes.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Perform RESTful API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality releases.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation and provide guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation, with at least 3 years specifically using the Cucumber framework.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
In-depth knowledge of the Cucumber framework and Gherkin language.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver and other test automation tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Understanding of RESTful API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
