Google Program Manager, Business Management in Hyderabad, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in an analytically-intensive role (i.e., management consulting, investment banking, business intelligence, data science, corporate strategy, financial and headcount management).

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical, or engineering field.

  • Experience working as an adaptable team player in a very cross-functional, fast-paced environment and leading complex strategic initiatives.

  • Ability to identify ambiguous problems, develop effective solutions, and implement them, and interest and understanding of technology delivery.

  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively by presenting data in a compelling way.

  • Ability to autonomously drive and prioritize multiple initiatives, with the sense of accountability, ownership for project life-cycle.

  • Excellent data analysis, logical thinking, and presentation development skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

  • Work closely with Corp Eng leadership and Chiefs of Staff (in region and globally) and the Corp Eng Office, partnering across Corp Eng pillars and the Vendor Management Office to contribute to the overall success of Corp Eng.

  • Shape, drive, and sustain initiatives that inform leadership decision-making and share the direction of the team's strategy.

  • Build new subject matter expertise quickly to develop hypotheses and recommendations for emerging initiatives/inbound requests, and leverage business acumen to identify opportunities.

  • Partner with the Corp Eng India Leads, and Chiefs of Staff across Corp Eng to prioritize and execute quantitative analyses, supporting definition and measurement approach design for key performance metrics.

  • Develop strategic narrative for our initiatives and effectively communicate goals, approach, outcomes to executive leadership and to the broader organization.
