IBM Data Consultant-Data Governance in Hyderabad, India

Your role and responsibilities
Build Database solutions for Azure platform secure, efficient, scalable, resilient with optimal cost. Responsibilities include ensuring database performance, scalability, and security, implementing best practices for database management, designing and maintaining database infrastructure, and developing automation tools to streamline operations
Required technical and professional expertise
Architect & Design solutions for Azure, which are optimal, secure, efficient, scalable, resilient and reliable, and at the same time compliant with ATT cloud standards and policies.
Create infrastructure using the ATT terraform jsk's and configure for application deployment.
Data migration across multiple data centres using native tools as well as established open-source kits that are unique to databases.
Lead cost optimization initiatives that comprise of efforts on identifying and preventing the creation of non-value added resources, and also supplementing with optimal alternate workarounds. This includes performance monitoring, backups, space management etc.
Lead efforts on arresting Azure vulnerabilities and plan risk mitigation strategies. Establish new process and methodologies such as "Near real time" data sync-up using Golden gate, or build standby database using dataguard architecture
Preferred technical and professional experience
Architect & Design solutions for Azure, which are optimal, secure, efficient, scalable, resilient and reliable, and at the same time compliant with ATT cloud standards and policies.
Identify and develop alerting system to proactively identify failures on daily database operations. On need basis, create new environment from existing environment for multiple deployment cycles using various cloning tools.
Work with vendor support team from Oracle, Microsoft and also with client SME team for process evolution and establish control system for databases
