Nexeo Staffing Local Haul Driver in HYDE PARK, Utah
Nexeo is seeking a dedicated and responsible Local Haul Driver. This position involves the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of materials,as well as assisting with various tasks around the shop when not on the road. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record,a valid CDL license,and experience with forklift operation.
*Responsibilities *
Operate a 24' automatic truck,specifically a 201 dually Dodge 3500,to make pickups and deliveries.
Load and unload materials,ensuring proper wrapping and palletizing.
Perform pre- and post-trip safety and operations checks.
Utilize navigational technology to determine the most efficient routes.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is fueled and ready for use.
Assist with regular vehicle inspections and arrange maintenance as needed.
Handle paperwork such as Bill of Ladings and other delivery documents.
Participate in shop work,including deburring,grinding parts,and potentially welding.
Frequently move products weighing up to 100 pounds.
Constantly work in outdoor weather conditions.
Occasionally ascend/descend steps and trailers.
Operate vehicles and industrial machinery,such as forklifts.
Qualifications
Valid CDL license.
Clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 5 years,no multiple tickets close together).
Forklift experience is highly beneficial.
Strong commitment to safety and excellent navigational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting,climbing,and operating machinery.
Ability to move about inside and outside the office and truck.
Ability to observe details at close range.
*Pay *
$22.00 - $26.00 Per Hour
*Schedule *
Monday Friday | 7:00am 3:30pm with some flexibility required
