Quality Tech in Hutchinson, MN The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for conducting analytical and clerical tasks within the department to support the quality functions of the plant. Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-6:00PM Pay: $18/hour to start Job Description: - Execute and analyze laboratory tests. - Prepare and package samples for dispatch to external testing facilities. - Address internal inquiries regarding technical product information. - Conduct laboratory calculations to ensure precise data reporting. - Diagnose and resolve laboratory issues. - Carry out routine maintenance on all laboratory instruments. - Ensure that all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for laboratory chemicals are reviewed and properly archived. - Read and accurately interpret documents such as laboratory results, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manuals, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs, and procedural manuals. - Perform standard clerical tasks, including filing, verifying, and inputting necessary information into the computer system. - Adhere to plant and laboratory GMPs to maintain a tidy work environment. - Conduct environmental and product testing, relaying results to plant and corporate management as required. - Issue timely "Out of Specification" (OOS) notifications to internal and relevant corporate management when necessary.
