Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) Help Desk Technician in Huntsville, Alabama

Overview

i3 is seeking a Help Desk Technician who will be responsible for providing technical desktop assistance and customer support. A professional and courteous demeanor is required in all circumstances. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and telephone etiquette. Above average ability to interpret, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. Must be decisive, conscientious and interact well in a team environment. Individual should have a strong desire to learn and be able to follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional customer/technical support to users by identifying problems, researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, guiding users through corrective steps, and maintaining computer hardware/software.

  • Listen attentively to user questions and concerns and offer optimal solutions.

  • Follow-up with users to ensure satisfactory support and complete issue resolution.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals and software.

  • Ensure system security in compliance with company policy.

  • Implement and maintain network standards and guidelines.

  • Utilize tools such as Active Directory, Remote Desktop, etc.

  • Operate audio/visual equipment such as Video Teleconferencing devices, projectors, and presentation hardware.

  • Maintain an awareness of trends within the technology industry.

  • Improves support operations by writing and maintaining documentation.

  • Participates in development of future support operations by identifying issues and recommending solutions.

  • Supports the organizational mission by completing related results as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Previous customer service/sales experience highly desired.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance or higher.

  • DoD 8140 compliant within 1 year of employment.
