As a DOT-FAA Quality Inspector I you will…
Conduct efficiency testing of aircraft ozone converters.
Inspect and/or measure quality parameters via approved measurement techniques including CMM, calipers, height gauges, etc.
Interpret drawings, procedures, and specifications.
Perform in process, final product and rework inspections including visual and physical testing.
Create and maintain files for inspection reports, nonconforming materials reports.
Serve as a contact for internal auditing process and help develop corrective actions related to team quality systems.
Write, read, and understand technical documentation including policies and procedures.
Perform inspections according to documented procedures and work instructions.
Record inspection results, verify accuracy, and develop charts and graphs for analysis.
Qualifications:
High School diploma with 2 years of lab and/or quality control experience OR minimum 2 year Technical / Associates degree in a related discipline with 1 year of lab and/or quality control experience.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, with focus on Excel and Word, required.
Read Computer aided drawing (CAD) software, required
Must be self-motivated and able to work without constant and direct supervision
Must have the ability to multi-task
Previous experience with CMM measurements, preferred
Previous experience with software inspection applications, preferred

The competitive Pay Rate for this role is $24.00/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
