Aerotek Mechanical Assembler in Hugo, Minnesota
Job Title: Equipment/Truck Builders
Job Description:
We are looking for a mechanical assembler that would be assist with building tanker trucks as well as full products and sub-assemblies for the ideal candidate would. The assembly process could be in parts or following through on the whole assembly process from start to finish. Takes 5-6 months per truck to finish.
Job Duties:
Perform all necessary assembly routines before and after equipment has been painted.
Read and interpret blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles.
Install parts and sub-assemblies prior to and after the painting process.
Install drives and pulleys.
Update paperwork to reflect any changes.
Operate equipment safely - Overhead Crane, Ironworker, small Band Saw, Drill Presses, Jancey drills, Cutting Torch, and other equipment, as required.
Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures, including acquisition and maintenance of training certificate.
Test-run completed equipment prior to shipment.
Other duties as assigned.

Pay/Shift
$22-27/hr depending on experience.
1st shift - 6:00am-3:30 PM Monday-Thursday and 6am-12pm on Friday
