Mercury Systems Intern - Materials Process Enhancement in Hudson, New Hampshire

Job Summary: As the Intern for Materials Process Enhancement, your assignment will be to monitor, record, and control product movement within specified work zones within the manufacturing environment. This will require consistent and prolonged use of a computer as well as time in the factory verifying physical Inventory to tracking system. Working independently and in a team environment, you will assist the manufacturing and planning teams in correcting data and annotating issues encountered in the factory. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned relative to enhancement of the Quality System and process capabilities. Job Responsibilities: * Monitors quality and process control. * Analyze data as a means of translating into executable actions. * Implements quality plans. * Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of product non-conformity. * Identify and record any problems associated with material movement process. * Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to issues within the material flow process. * Control and monitor further processing of non-conforming product until the deficiency has been defined and corrected. * Facilitate and attend meetings. * Communicate regularly with Manager and Team Leads. Worksite location options: * Onsite: Hudson, NH (9/80 schedule) * Hybrid: Not an option for this role based it duties and responsibilities * Remote: Not an option for this role based it duties and responsibilities Preferred Qualifications: * At least 18 years of age. * High School graduate and/or attending college or institute of higher education in pursuit of a diploma or certification. * College students with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, and/or Process engineering * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment. * Ability to interpret and understand written procedures/instructions. Hiring timeline dates: * Onsite interview dates: 27-31 MAY 2024 (60 minute at Hudson facility) * Applicant selection date: 10 June 2024 * Start date: 17 or 24 June 2024 * Pending on HS or college starting, Mercury can extend internship as needed based on classes starting * Length of Internship : Approx. 12 weeks "This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
