[Federated Hermes, Inc., [leading global asset manager focused on meeting the diverse and evolving needs of todays investors[ is seeking a Unit Manager to support our Customer Contact Center in Houston, Texas.This role provides day-to-day support and ongoing development to team of Client Service Representatives within the Client Contact Center while also engaging with participants to understand and respond to their needs.

  • Fostering a positive work environment that promotes the importance of developing long standing client relationships and best in class customer care.
  • Providing direct supervision and oversight of a team and activities involving front line communication with Federated Hermes participants.
  • Responding promptly to client inquires and participating in client calls as necessary.
  • Representing the business unit and its participants in meetings with Federated Hermes vendors on administrative and/or operational matters.
  • Participate in establishing, implementing, and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to new and existing employees.

  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum five years of experience in a corporate customer service call center environment required.
  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role required.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office computer applications
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, reach sound conclusions, and propose solutions.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and accomplish company objectives.
