Insight Global Sales Specialist in Houston, Texas

Job Description

A global automation client of Insight Global is looking for to fill a technical, Trusted Advisor role with End Users by consultatively providing solutions to our customers that solve problems, reduce cost, and enable operational efficiency. Applications will involve Liquid and/or Gas Measurement, Plunger Lift, Gas Lift, Wellhead Alarms & Shutdowns, PID, Valve Control, Custom Panel Design and Communications. This individual will consult with End Users to define project scope of work, listen and understand the end users goal and vision, consultatively provide solutions that exceed the customers expectations. This work will include custom training, standardization consulting, configuration and initial solution project start-up consultation. This individual will be responsible for achieving key targets (e.g. volume, price, and mix) for instrumentation sales as well as implementing and reviewing automation strategies with region-specific action plans. This person will grow product sales and presence in the liquids space for O&G, and partake in demand creation for engineered to order custom panels solutions. This individual communicates the end user value proposition for Automation (internally and externally), supports the local sales organization to have an effective perception in Automation, and creates and implements the communication, promotion, and training activities in the segment. This person builds and maintains strong relationships with the key Automation customers in Texas and follows up on company performance in fulfilling their needs and communicates deficiencies and/or opportunities to the respective Business Units/Product Groups.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years experience in instrumentation sales through direct and or indirect channel partners or distribution

  Leverage your existing relationships in the industry to bring new selling opportunities

  Solid understanding of instrumentation, level technology and markets

   Coriolis

   Tank level products

   Pressure and temperature measures

   Gas meters

   Electro magnetic meter

   Vortex meter

   Flow computers and RTU Associates Degree in technology null
