Job Title: Building Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance division operates on a customer site and is responsible for all aspects of building maintenance. This includes preventative maintenance on electrical components, VFDs, plumbing, boilers, HVAC units, and various other building systems. The role also involves addressing customer requests for miscellaneous jobs and navigating different client personalities. The majority of the work focuses on electrical and plumbing tasks, but responsibilities can range from adjusting computer monitors to more extensive repairs.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components, VFDs, plumbing, boilers, and HVAC units.
Address customer requests for various maintenance tasks.
Navigate and manage different client personalities effectively.
Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Handle plumbing maintenance and repairs.
Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks as needed, including minor adjustments like computer monitor setups.
Essential Skills
5+ years of building/facility maintenance experience.
Expertise in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Proficiency in plumbing.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work well with clients and demonstrate a people-oriented personality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with motor controls.
Certifications or experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or EPA.
Knowledge of Central Plant/AC units.
Carpentry skills.
