Description
Robert Half is offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant. Based in Houston, Texas, this position involves providing administrative support to a growing and robust Fleet Department, handling both inbound and outbound phone calls with a professional demeanor, and performing diligent data entry tasks.
This position will be 100% onsite
The pay is up to $22/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date fleet records ensuring full compliance and readiness for internal or external audits.
Assist in ensuring company-wide compliance with local, state, and federal transportation and safety laws and regulations.
Monitor fleet licenses, registrations and perform renewal actions when needed.
Track and manage fleet maintenance schedules, coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure upkeep.
Assist in implementing and monitoring fleet compliance training programs.
Contribute to team efficiency by performing administrative tasks such as data entry, report generation, and document handling.
Support management with special projects related to fleet management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
Experience with fleet management or a similar field is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of relevant transportation and safety laws and regulations is beneficial.
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
