Description Overview Join our dynamic software engineering team at Spok! We seek a passionate and innovative Junior Software Engineer to contribute to our projects in Platform and Alerting. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates or those with a few years of experience to grow their skills in a cutting-edge environment. Responsibilities >Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable enterprise event processing and workflow messaging platform that integrates with best in the class third-party systems. >Collaborate to develop and integrate with APIs that empower to share and utilize their medical data in partner systems. >Identify bottlenecks and defects, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. >Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards. >Produce or maintain technical documentation of features. >Stay up-to-date with trends in emerging software engineering, telephony, and networking technologies. Required Education, Skills & Experience >Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. >1-3 years of experience in software development. >Strong proficiency in client and native-side programming languages, C++, C#, and JavaScript, dotnet core. >Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum. >Knowledge of database management and basic architecture principles. >Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. >Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
