Actalent Project Manager (Energy Developer) in Honolulu, Hawaii

We are working Hawaii-based renewable energy developer, supported by its shareholder Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO), one of the largest electric utility companies in the world, is seeking a skilled leader in project management. The ideal candidate is a talented and driven individual with a passion for transforming the way energy is delivered.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Directs multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Maintains project budgets and ensures cost spending remains within budget.

  • Responsible for weekly reporting, monthly projections, and scheduling updates.

  • Prioritizes projects and tasks to meet department and company objectives.

  • Monitors project performance, identifies areas for improvement, and recommends enhancements, such as procedural adjustments, increased training, and better documentation.

  • Uses the baseline schedule to track and manage project progression.

  • Updates and maintains project schedules.

  • Tracks all necessary licensure and permit requirements and ensures compliance.

  • Completes required paperwork, change forms, and documents delays or scope changes promptly.

  • Manages the commissioning process as applicable.

  • Participates in meetings and functions as a member of the project management team.

  • Generates RFIs, submittals, and transmittals as needed.

  • Communicates regularly with project representatives on a weekly basis.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project engineering experience in the energy production and storage industry.

  • High degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to think independently and solve problems.

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficient in reading blueprints, plans, specs, contracts, and purchase orders.

  • Knowledge of project management and job costing software is preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word).

  • Knowledge of state and/or federal laws and requirements.

  • Coordinates with the team on pricing, change orders, and material purchases.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00
