Job Summary:

This position is responsible for driving and operating company trucks in a safe manner at all times. This position will deliver hampers of clean linen and pick up hampers of soil linen at various accounts, unloading and loading hampers of clean/soil product onto the linen receiving areas.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct a pre-trip inspection prior to leaving the yard on every truck they drive throughout their shift.
• Report any vehicle damage and / or repair issues to the service clerk prior to leaving the plant.
• Ensure the truck cabs are kept clean and free of trash.
• Maintain a daily trip sheet logging the account name, time leaving the plant, number of hampers delivered, soil hampers returned, time returning to the plant, truck number, and noting any issues that occurred during the delivery.
• Deliver and pick up hampers/Z racks of clean/soil linen at various accounts and unload hampers/ Z Racks of clean/soil linen at assigned locations at the plant.
• Get all invoices for each delivery signed by the proper hotel employee that receives the clean delivery and ensure the signed copies are turned into the service clerks upon return to the plant.
• Follow the service clerks directives.
• Maintain a neat and clean personnel appearance.
• Follow all company rules and regulations at all times.
• Conduct themselves as a positive representative of Brady Linen.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull hampers on wheels with a weight up to of 700lbs.
• Ability to bend forward, use hands, arms, and legs to grab linen.
• Ability to be a team player and get along with co-workers, supervisors and visitors.
