STATUS: PT/26hrs/wk

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED required
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Experience in social service setting preferred
Demonstrate a positive attitude & an ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds & circumstances
Able to maintain a non-judgmental demeanor, using a professional approach and maintaining boundaries with clients
Able to handle crisis/emergency services for the homeless and to utilize crisis intervention, crowd management and conflict resolution skills
Must be able to assist clients by effectively working with them for a positive outcome
New Mexico DL with clean driving record
Ability to pass TSA fleet safety e-learning module
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be part of a collaborative team
Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
RESPONSIBIITIES:
Maintain order and neatness of the mobile shower unit.
Drive, park, and prepare the unit for use.
Clean and return the unit to storage space when not in use.
Report issues with shower units and/or towing vehicles or trailers.
Assist clients as needed, ensuring a welcoming and respectful environment.
Stock and maintain program supplies, including hygiene kits and clean clothing.
Collect, wash, dry, and fold towels and donated clothing items used in the program.
Work closely with the social service team in the reporting of goods given out.
Monitor inventory levels for clothing, hygiene kits, and laundry supplies, and communicate replenishment needs to the Program Manager.
Support the social service team with record-keeping, including participant counts, supply usage, and incident reports, utilizing TSA Wellsky or other tracking systems.
Perform other duties as assigned as it relates to social services.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms on a continuous basis. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
