We are seeking an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and a strong focus on customer service who will have the following primary responsibilities, but not limited to,Duties and Primary Responsibilitieso Participate in deployment activities for airports in Noibai – perform site surveys, interface with local technical personnel, and perform installation activities. Also assist in other critical projects at other airports within Asia Pacific region and travel to other sites if and when necessary,o Install, update, and test new and existing airline and airport applications, configure common use workstations and peripherals. Install third party software products and integrate them into ARINC’s Airports common use and system integration products. o Adhere to installation instructions and guidelines and use industry best practices in order to deliver the best quality service. Use the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the installation, intervention, and problem solutions in accordance with System Delivery guidelines and instructions where providedo Provide best practices for day to day operations, performance analysis, tuning and capacity planning for products deployed and suggest and implement performance improvements when necessary.o Proactively detect problems, report and escalate the problems to next level of support when they can’t be resolved in timely manner. Interface with on-site maintenance personnel, provide 3nd level supports where needed in order to meet the Service Level Agreements (SLA). o Frequently interact with customers and coordinate with Airlines and Airport Authorities at airports regarding technical requirements, configurations and testing of airline and airport applications. Commission and hand over systems components and enhancements to customer representatives. Desired Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceIt is desired that candidate has experience and working knowledge in:o Windows Security software and implementation: Microsoft WSUSo Antivirus software, preferably McAfee and McAfee ePOo Working with enterprise server platforms (HP, Cisco, and Dell).o Symantec Backup Exec and tape libraries, and Intelligent Disaster Recovery (IDR)o Data Replication/Mirroring and High availability solutions software such as EMC Autostart and RACo Knowledge and understanding of standard Local (LAN) and Wide Area network (WAN) protocols and communication methods, o Network hardware/software such as Layer 2 and 3 switching/routing, Cisco IOS, IP address provisioning/sub netting, VLAN allocation and managemento Wireless hardware configuration and installation with equipment by manufacturers such as Ciscoo Monitoring application such as Whatsup Gold, HP Open View, etc. o ISO processes, Technical writing skills, Troubleshooting methodologieso Familiarity with PCI/DSS and other security standards such as ISO 27001o Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DFSR, DHCP, IIS, Cluster Server, NLBo Imaging software like Ghost and Acroniso Be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.Required Education/Certifications/Trainingo Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related technical degree.o Worked at least 2 years as a junior system engineer at an Enterprise IT company or managed services organization.Desired Education/Certifications/Trainingo VMware Certified Professional (VCP).o Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA o Microsoft MCITP Enterprise or MCSETravelo Candidate should be willing to travel to international destinations within Philippines and Asia Pacific Region. Expected amount of travel is 30-50%.
