As a Clinical Dietitian in our hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who are facing significant health challenges, collaborating with a diverse and dedicated team to optimize their nutrition and support their healing journey. Whether it’s providing specialized nutrition assessments, delivering patient education, or working alongside nursing and provider teams in various specialties, your work will make a profound impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition screening and assessments for patients.

  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans to promote recovery, healing, and overall health.

  • Educate patients and their families about nutrition, helping them understand how diet impacts their health and recovery.

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of dietitians, physicians, nurses, and specialists across a variety of clinical areas.

  • Participate in nutrition-focused research and educational initiatives within this vibrant academic medical setting.

  • Advocate for the integration of nutrition into all aspects of patient care, contributing to improved patient outcomes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Master's degree required unless exempted by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

  • One (1) year of experience required.

  • Registered Dietitian (or Registry Eligible) required (Commission on Dietetics Registration).

  • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania) or eligible for licensure required.
