We are looking for experienced Network Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology with containerized solutions and orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

We are actively seeking a Network Engineer with a minimum of 6 years experience:

  • Experience implementing TCP/IP Networking Systems

  • Senior level experience with network routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and/or ISIS

  • Experience with lifecycle replacement and deployment of enterprise networking equipment (routers/switches/firewalls)

  • Expert understanding of best practice for network design

  • Experience with Data Center infrastructure solutions: Cisco Fabricpath and NX-OS, VPC, Switch-ID's

  • Ability to perform upgrades and routine network operations and maintenance at a Tier 3 support level

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and VPN technologies with some cloud networking

  • Experience with various Cisco IOS versions to include IOS-XE, IOS-XR and NX-OS

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with a wide variety of network technologies and solutions architectures

  • Broad understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts in the networking field

  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and network design concepts

  • Cloud Service Provider and hybrid cloud experience (extending on-premise networks to cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Oracle and Google)

  • Continuous integration, test automation and/or SecDevOps on iterative development projects

  • Agile Development methodologies

  • Experience with Service Provider level technologies such as EVPN, SR-MPLS, BGP and BGP Address Families

  • Experience with Network Automation (Python, YANG, Cisco NSO)

  • Experience with INFOSEC and COMSEC

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
