ManTech Cyber Network Administrator in Herndon, Virginia
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Network Administrator to join our team in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (Northern) DMV area .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Designs, installs, maintain, and coordinate the use of the network system.
Evaluates hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
Manages network performance to maintain high quality transmission service on the network.
Maintains, create/deletes user accounts, maintains, and updates system security plans on all platforms. Review and update SOPs, and other documents
Implements and coordinates network policies, procedures, and standards.
Enforces security procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned which may require specific physical abilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related field of study
Within six (6) months of hire you must obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA)
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of ITIL service delivery concepts
Microsoft certification for Windows desktop or server administration
DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA)
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
