IT PROJECT MANAGER II

ROLE OBJECTIVE

To understand, drive and deliver projects from initiation to closure. As a project manager one must manage and set stakeholder expectations, communicate effectively and plan/manage tasks, resources and timeline effectively to successfully deliver projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities specific to the band level are:

• Manages complex projects

o Multiple stakeholders

o Multi team collaboration

o Long duration projects

• High visibility strategic projects

• Mentors junior team members

Other responsibilities include:

• Understand project requirements

• Drive and participate in the discovery phase

• Plan project timelines and milestones

• Collaborate with teams to create work break down

• Identify, mitigate, and flag project risks proactively

• Monitor and control project progress

• Effective and proactive communication

• Drive projects to closure as planned

• Support team with documentation

• Mentor and support junior team members.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelor’s degree – Any

• Knowledge of project management techniques

• Knowledge of project management tools

• Knowledge of basic IT development platform and technology stacks

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• PMP or Scrum Master certification (good to have)

• IT Project Management Experience

• Agile Development experience

• 3+ years of Project Management Experience, leading digital project

• Experience working with product base companies.
