School Nurse Under the direction of the Special Education Director of the NE BOCES or his/her designee, the NE BOCES School Nurse will work cooperatively with local member school districts to conduct vision/hearing screenings, prepare and implement health care plans for students, provide medication and health delegation to school staff, and provide supervision of school health services. A Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred, but not required; Colorado's new licensing changes allow a School Nurse to be licensed by CDE with an AA or AAS degree, versus the BSN program that was previously required. This position is based on a 175-day contract during the school year. Travel is required. Salary is competitive. Benefits are provided.
