Carlson Orchards Inc. Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery in Harvard, Massachusetts
3 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 09/01/2024 - 12/10/2024.
May perform any combination of tasks related to the planting, cultivating harvesting and processing of fruit and vegetables including, but not limited to, driving, operating, weeding, thinning, spraying, irrigating, mowing, harvesting, grading and packing. May use hand tools such as shovel, pruning saw, clippers. Harvest tree fruit using a ladder and picking bucket. Workers will be spraying - general use pesticides under the direct supervision of licensed applicator. Worker will be required to carry picking bucket with approximately 1/2 bushel of apples while ascending and descending a ladder on a sustained basis. One (1) month experience required in apple duties listed above.
Requirements:

- Lifting requirement 50 lbs.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
- Extensive Pushing or Pulling
- Extensive sitting or walking
- Frequent stooping or bending over
- Repetitive movements
