DESCRIPTION OF WORK We seek applications from individuals with strong organizational and multitasking skills and a friendly and personable demeanor. You should possess an understanding of financial transactions and general accounting principles. It is highly beneficial for you to possess a strong understanding of Excel to track Monthly Statements of Expenditures (MSEs). The primary responsibilities entail the careful review, correction, and processing of MSEs submitted by the 64 County Domestic Relations Sections (DRS), all while ensuring strict compliance with federal and state requirements for receiving federal reimbursement. Your expertise and thoroughness in this role are vital to maintaining accurate financial records and upholding regulatory compliance. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an Associate degree in accounting or business administration; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
