Reference #: 4381182 THE POSITION This position is responsible for performing various clerical tasks relating to the operation of the Charities Investigation Unit of the Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation.

The Charities Investigation Unit conducts confidential investigations regarding charitable organizations, professional solicitors and professional fundraising counsels which have allegedly violated the Solicitation of Funds for Charitable Purposes Act.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK Duties for this position include the following:

Responsible for exact receipt, proper processing, and proper distribution of all incoming and outgoing electronic and physical mail, including but not limited to, Assignment Requests, Completed Assignments, Daily Activity Reports, General Invoices, Automotive Reports, Travel Expense Vouchers, Internal Stores Requisitions, and other miscellaneous documentation relating to the operation of the office. Employee is required to have knowledge of the rules pertaining to the completion and assembly of these items as they are returned for exactness. Ensures accurate data is properly entered into the BEI/Charities/PALS.

Maintains files of reports, assignments, correspondence, forms, and any other documentation relating to the operation of the office. Monitors, or assists in monitoring, leave and daily attendance records for employees of the office. Inputs appropriate information into the tracking system. Responsible for staff leave records and weekly time sheets. Employee must maintain and demonstrate accurate knowledge of all leave and attendance rules and regulations. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $34,621 (before taxes) You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
