The Insurance Department, Claims Administration Division is looking for a Clerical Assistant 2 to manage mail, supplies, and incoming calls. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 2, your primary responsibilities are to manage incoming and outgoing general office mail and package functions, maintain the records room and supplies, and effectively direct incoming phone calls. You will also monitor postage dollar amounts, accurately sort documents and pull both physical and electronic claims files, and provide backup support in preparing various documents and electronic file maintenance. You will also have the opportunity to hand-carry urgent or priority materials and documents throughout the capital complex, pick up miscellaneous documents at the Capital Building and Strawberry Square offices or travel off-site to assist with retrieval and return of records to the State Records Center. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
