The Office of Income Maintenance (OIM), Deputy Secretary's Office is seeking an individual with strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail to join our team. OIM is responsible for a variety of assistance programs, including medical, supplemental nutrition, and cash assistance. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Assistant 1 for OIM, you will be responsible for the administrative and business functions of the directors and other executives. You can expect to direct and coordinate personnel services, purchasing, record management, and human resource duties in coordination with the human resources staff. In this position, you will aid in the development and oversight of time-sensitive and confidential document reviewing. You will also be monitoring, routing, updating, and adhering to tight timeliness that impact program and benefit administration, funding, evaluation, and operation. Some additional duties include arranging travel for the executives, assisting in document preparation, and maintaining schedules for various calendars.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Work hours may be negotiable. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
