The Work:

Get ready to experience a thrilling and impactful day as an Embedded Software Engineer within Lockheed Martin's Cyber and Intel teams! Your day starts with diving into cutting-edge technologies, developing advanced software solutions for complex cybersecurity challenges. You'll be working with a dynamic team of experts, collaborating on innovative projects that protect our nation's critical infrastructure.

As you design, code, and test real-time embedded software in languages like C, C++, and Ada, you'll be at the forefront of our Cyber and Intel mission. You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from creating secure communication protocols to developing sophisticated algorithms for data analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

- Current DoD Top Secret SCI with Polygraph is required.

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

- 14 years or more of professional experience

- Experience with C library

- Experience with requirements management

- Extensive experience with Embedded development for common processor families like ARM cortex.

Desired Skills:

- Basic knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies

- Intermediate knowledge of computer networking

- X86 and/or ARM assembly development

- Experience with Firmware reverse Engineering

- Experience leading teams to develop new and existing products, solutions, and processes

- Experience working government programs with controlled engineering baselines

- Communicates effectively, accurately conveys project status, and able to identify, assess, and mitigate risks

- Written and oral communication skills, including the ability to express technical ideas to senior decision makers

- Leadership and organizational skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
