Overview:
Actalent has an immediate opening on our Marketing Team for a Graphic Designer / Sr Graphic Designer - located at our Global Headquarters in Hanover, MD.
Compensation
Salary Range | $54,900 - 104,800
Bonus Potential | up to $8,000
Schedule
Full Time | Permanent
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hybrid | 4 days in office - 1 day remote
Job Summary:
The Actalent marketing team is seeking a skilled graphic designer with strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit to support internal and client-facing projects. The graphic designer will design and produce a variety of print and digital assets including but not limited to corporate collateral, sales sheets, case studies, white papers, social media graphics, digital ads and PPT presentations. As a member of the marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to impact our consultants, clients and colleagues in the engineering and sciences talent solutions space.
Essential Functions:
• Support creative projects (print and digital) for a wide variety of internal and external clients • Creates designs and concepts based on knowledge of Actalent culture and ensures all creative assets uphold brand standards• Design marketing communication pieces including overall theme development, for case studies, whitepapers, email templates, and infographics• Work with digital marketing team to design emails, landing pages, social media graphics and display advertisements• Collaborate with marketing team members and other internal teams to develop creative solutions and then translate those solutions through a variety of channels• Work with our brand team around the development and management of our global brand. • Manage production of all print pieces from conception to completion• Design all event collateral, signage, presentations and giveaways for internal and external events. Maintains quality check on all pieces• Assist in online platform redesigns, including intranet websites and custom landing page layouts• Mentor and work with other designers (staff, freelance, agency partners, interns, etc.)• Collaborate on creative strategy with senior marketing and brand team• Consult with executive leadership team and sales teams on the design of PowerPoint presentations• Ability to juggle priorities, meet deadlines, collaborate effectively with staff and stakeholders at all levels and align design efforts with broader organizational goals• Stay current on industry trends• Experience in handling and accounting for critical feedback
Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Interactive design or related field. • 5+ years of experience in graphic design in a professional environment. • A strong design portfolio• Exceptional visual style and understanding of typography, layout, color and images. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud with expert knowledge in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat• MAC and PC proficient. • Experience designing professional PowerPoint presentations. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction. • Strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management skills. • Adaptable and quick learner. Must be able to apply style guides creatively while upholding the Actalent brand identity • Develop easy to understand layouts from complex content • Experience with HTML and CSS a must. • Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Expert knowledge in graphic production process. • Work well with tight deadlines individually or in a team environment. • Able to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
