G & J Site Solutions, Inc. is hiring full-time, experienced Irrigation System Technicians *to join their landscaping team in *Hancock, Michigan.

As an Irrigation Technician with us, your days will be filled with hands-on tasks like mapping out irrigation zones, digging trenches, installing equipment, and ensuring systems are in top-notch condition with regular maintenance checks. You'll also have the opportunity to work on more specialized projects, such as setting up electrical timer systems, plumbing outdoor water tanks, and connecting water-recycling setups.

SCHEDULE. This is a seasonal, full-time Monday--Friday position working Spring time -- December. Schedules may flex based on company needs and could include an occasional Saturday.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Michigan Driver's License and a clean driving record required.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License preferred, but not required. Those with a valid Class A CDL endorsement will be paid a higher pay rate and higher travel reimbursement. Employees that show initiative and the ability to operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, we will assist you in obtaining your Class A CDL.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of irrigation processes and systems including testing soil and vegetation to determine irrigation needs, mapping out areas for installation, installing and testing systems, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of plumbing preferred.
• Ability to operate machinery such as trenching machines and digging tools, when needed.
• Ability to perform physical labor, work in outdoor weather conditions of all types, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel to job sites and stay overnight, if necessary, due to location of job site. Company provides transportation to/from job sites and provides lodging when overnight stays are necessary.
• You are reliable, trustworthy, and work well individually and as a team member.
• You work well under time constraints and can ensure deadlines are met.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-hire drug and alcohol screening.
