Robert Half Property Manager in Hampton, Virginia

Description

We are providing an opportunity for a skilled Property Manager to join our team within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry. This role is based in Hampton, Virginia, and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The primary function of this role is to handle all aspects of property management, from tenant interactions to invoice management, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage interactions with tenants, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining professional relationships

• Handle all aspects of residential property management, ensuring the smooth operation of all properties

• Perform accounting clerk duties such as matching and coding invoices, along with data entry of invoices, rents, and bills

• Utilize the Rent Manager ERP system for various tasks (previous experience is a plus but not required)

• Work with Section 8 housing, ensuring all regulations and procedures are followed (experience is desired but not required)

• Process and manage additional paperwork involved with tax credits

• Handle properties with income restrictions and tax credits, ensuring all regulations are followed and paperwork is processed accurately

• Utilize skills such as Code Invoices, Enter Invoices, Data Entry, Property Management, Residential Property Management, and Section 8 effectively for successful job performance.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry

• Proficiency in coding and entering invoices

• Demonstrated skills in data entry with high level of accuracy

• Experience in property management, specifically residential property management

• Familiarity with Section 8 housing and its related regulations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in using property management software and tools

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
