Responsibilities

Provide physician practice workflow transformation guidance, workflow change management direction, and identifies information gaps in existing clinical processes as they relate to implementation and optimization of electronic medical record systems.

  • Guide the adoption and evaluation activities for physician clinic practice sites to identify non-standard or non-compliant workflows and information gaps.

  • Assess current system issues and provide training to leverage electronic medical record functionality that supports practice standards and patient outcomes.

  • Collaborate with the local leadership and physician clinic practice leadership to enhance the training experience and identify adoption and optimization strategies in order to achieve expected outcomes.

  • Provide ongoing electronic medical record application upgrades or new feature training to the physician practices and new associate training.

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with practice users to ensure optimal utilization of clinical applications.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

Prior PACS and MUSE is a success factor. Provider training is also highly preferred. A minimum of 3 to 5 years trouble shooting with Providers. Submitting tickets and supporting provider and technicians will be main duties.

This position will require on-site training to providers several times a week for the Elk Grove Village and Hoffman Estates Cardiology offices.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards like HIPAA or HL7.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail.

  • Prior experience in healthcare IT or clinical systems support.

  • Broad diversified understanding of IT and System architect

  • Desktop, server, interface, and network

  • Understanding of IT architecture of cPAC, rPAC, and Merge hemo

  • Understanding of Ascension IT processes and escalation

  • Proactive in identifying connectivity vs software vs interface issues and able to problem solve and escalate
