TITLE: Restaurant Manager & Operator REQUIREMENTS: 5 years of experience as a Manager/Operator of Restaurant with experience in Mexican hospitality; Kitchen management and experience required. JOB DUTIES: Oversee daily operations of the restaurant including food preparation, customer service, sanitation, security, staff supervision and training. Manage scheduling of staff to ensure adequate coverage for all restaurant shifts and activities. Hire, train, evaluate and terminate restaurant staff as needed. Maintain compliance with all applicable labor, employment, health and safety laws and regulations. Establish and enforce standards for staff performance, customer service, food/beverage preparation, sanitation etc. Ensure food, beverages and other supplies are ordered and stocked appropriately. Oversee inventory management, waste control and loss prevention measures. Monitor budgets, payroll, and other financial activities to minimize costs and maximize profits. Develop and implement policies, marketing campaigns and other initiatives to promote the restaurant and increase sales. Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction with the dining experience. Coordinate maintenance, renovations, equipment upgrades and other improvements. Stay updated on industry trends and implement changes to stay competitive. Represent the restaurant at community events, media opportunities and other networking functions. SALARY: $73,757 per year.
