Hale Area Schools Food Service Worker in Hale, Michigan

Position: Food Service Worker - Approximately 7 Hours per Day
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Prepare and serve nutritious and attractive meals. ? Maintain and apply all safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards and practices in all food service areas as required by federal, state, local and district regulations and policies. ? Maintain annual training requirements ? Operate production equipment and dishwashing equipment. ? Operate food service technology ? Receive, stock and inventory food & supplies - must be able to safely lift up to 50 Lbs. ? Display and present merchandise ? Transport food and supplies and cash bags/boxes when necessary. ? Compile and maintain appropriate records for federal, state and local regulations and reports. ? Understand and determine qualified meals and qualified components of meals. ? Monitor reimbursable meal qualification at point of service. ? Assist in coordination of events and activities. ? Meet and service the needs of students and staff in a timely fashion and in a pleasant and appropriate manner. ? Other duties as assigned by the Director and/or designee.
