Eaton Corporation Lead Engineer - Medium Voltage Systems ETO in Hadapsar, India
What you’ll do:
"- Lead COE function across MVS productline (Xiria, UX, HMH) through hands on execution
Provides technical leadership & coaching to the team to execute projects and recommend/make key engineering decisions.
Expand the capabilities of the team by enhancing product knowledge thru complex order execution
Work with critical customers and support in Auto throw over schemes- Close transition / open transition using PLC controller.
Technical training / mentoring of new engineers within team for smooth on the job onboarding and assimilation.
Further, works closely with global teams for technical/functional deliverables on assigned activities & should contribute in product development
Understands product requirements of Medium Voltage Assembly in terms of application, design considerations, working principals, complex system interactions and implement in projects that you work"

Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of field returns and warranty issues on products to support sustaining engineering
Expand the capabilities of the team by enhancing product knowledge thru complex order execution
Work with critical customers and support in Auto throw over schemes- Close transition / open transition using PLC controller.
Technical training / mentoring of new engineers within team for smooth on the job onboarding and assimilation.
Propose cost out opportunities for the product line
Supporting team on DA electrical projects – Training / Execution, etc.
Maintain current knowledge/expertise of product engineering technologies, competitor capabilities, practices, market conditions, and channels.
Proficiency in understanding customer requirements, preparing the general arrangement drawing, Schematic, Single line, Component selection and calculations, BOM for given customer requirement.
Hands on experience on various PLC Applications, I/O modules, Synchronization relays, contactors, Event recorders. Various control logics design, control power interlocking relays, control wiring details
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, customer, team members and cross functional team, both verbal & written
Responsible in understanding working principles of various LV/MV/MCC equipment like transformer, Circuit breaker, VFD, Soft Starter, relay, switches etc.
Demonstrate Hands on experience with drafting tools such as AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical
Perform control/power cable sizing and component mounting in switchgear. Interprets Metering & modes of communication (communication protocols)
Provide input and feedback for continuous improvement of processes and systems
Perform Quality Checks to ensure drawings meet Eaton and customer standards / requirements"
Qualifications:
BE Electrical
12-13 Years of working experience in switchgear product designing (Medium Voltage Assemblies and distribution product)
Skills:
"Required Qualifications:
Should be well aware about end to end ETO process
'- Proficiency in ETO process & Tools
Experience in PLM software like Enovia
Drafting experience on 2D CAD tool. (Preferred Autodesk AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical)
End to End ETO process knowledge
Knowledge on Bill of material structures
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with power distribution assemblies
Technical experience with Medium Voltage Assemblies
Knowledge working with Standards"
