The opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic-minded individual to join our team as Sr. Director, Global Biosimilar Marketing, Global Portfolio lead. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to optimize the biosimilar pipeline and ensure alignment with organizational goals on a global scale.

Location: This hybrid role (3 days in the office) will be based in our European headquarters, currently in Amsterdam but relocating to Haarlem on June 24, 2024, and can also be based out of our Parsippany, NJ or West Chester, PA offices.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive biosimilar pipeline strategy to maximize market opportunities, address market and access & trade barriers and prepare for Region-level launch readiness.

  • Create Global Commercial Synergy Platforms tailored to Payer Portfolio Contracting & Communication platforms to ensure seamless handoff and Region-level launch readiness.

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and landscape assessments to identify potential biosimilar targets, evaluate market dynamics, and inform pipeline strategy development.

  • Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Commercial, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of pipeline strategy with overall business objectives.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to inform launch sequencing at the country level, ensuring alignment with global market access and pricing strategies.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory, market access & pricing changes to inform decision-making processes and enhance commercialization strategies.

  • Measure and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of market access strategies and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, or PhD) preferred.

  • Proven experience in global market access, pricing strategy, and commercialization within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong understanding of pipeline strategy, payer dynamics, market access trends, and healthcare systems globally.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams effectively.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Global and Domestic travel may be required
