We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Production Lead to join a 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will support the Production Lead in overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role requires prior experience, 2nd shift availabilty, leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
salary: $45,000 - $52,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Assist the Production Lead in managing daily operations of the production floor during the 2nd shift.
Supervise production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor production schedules, adjust workflow as necessary to meet deadlines.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Identify and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks promptly.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Train new employees and provide ongoing training for existing staff.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives.

wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
