Job Title: Development Process Engineer/Process Engineer Duration: 06 Months Location: Columbus, OH 43219 Job Duties: Responsible for the design, install, commission, validation, and start-up of manufacturing process systems for ingredient preparation, liquid processing, CIP, spray drying, dry blending, powder handling, retort processing, and aseptic processing. Ensures compliance of process parameter and operational condition with USDA and FDA regulations. Skills: * At least 1 year experience, applying engineering knowledge in Food or Pharma environment. * A Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred. * Familiarity with plant control software, including PLC / HMI and SCADA systems. * Familiarity with liquid aseptic processing/filling in the food industry. * Experience with powder processing and wet mixing in the food industry. * Experience with engineering project management. * Has a technical background in health care, nutritional products, or similar industries (preferred). Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical). Some travel may be required. Manager will consider a Manufacturing Engineer, Validation Engineer, or Electrical Engineer, but has to have required experience in Food or Pharma. Manager would like to see someone with Aseptic background.
