Job Title: Principal Software Engineer
Salary: $186,000 and Standard Benefits.
Location: 8515 East Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 *May work remotely from anywhere in the US.
Duties: Design, implement, deploy, and support new web-based microservices using server technologies stacks that include Java, MySQL, and AWS services (EC2, SQS,API Gateway, ELB, Cloud-formation, Aurora). Define and implement REST Web Services for exposing personal financial services for managing financial accounts, payments, investment portfolios, and credit products. Execute end-to-end software development and deployment in an agile environment that greatly values CI/CD using maven, gradle, Jenkins, git , Junit , splunk and node. Define and develop cloud-native distributed systems and container orchestration platforms using micro service and serverless architectures. Work with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, Cassandra, mongo dB. *may work remotely from anywhere in the US.
Requirements: Master's degree* (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related; 3 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or a related position, which must include experience in the following: Utilizing AWS cloud technologies, including Route53, ELB, EC2, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, SES, Lambda and Step Function. Utilizing with SQL/NOSQL databases, including Cassandra, Dynamo, MySQL, Oracle Aurora. Developing both SOAP/REST based API's using Java. Defining and developing cloud-native distributed systems using micro service and serverless architectures.
*Will also accept a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree and three years of experience, including experience listed above.
