We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure high levels of performance across the team. You will leverage a process-driven approach to design and implement innovative solutions that optimize and streamline billing and collections processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely revenue realization.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure high levels of team performance.
Design and implement innovative solutions to optimize and streamline billing and collections processes.
Oversee the management of consolidated and custom invoices, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Use Excel at an intermediate level (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) to analyze data, track metrics, and generate reports.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with market representatives and sales teams to facilitate smooth operations.
Ensure invoicing processes are followed accurately and efficiently, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Reconcile client statements and outstanding balances; assist in collections and reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
Identify and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with clients and internal teams.
Ensure all deadlines are met for month-end close and year-end close.
Establish and oversee annual goals and objectives for associates, guiding them to success.
Assist with audits by coordinating annual audit support.
Make informed decisions on client credit limits and payment terms.
Assist with upcoming account software transition.
Analyze and monitor post-audit results; creating process improvements that elevate the department.
Essential Skills
Accounts Receivable experience
Management experience
Experience managing remote team members
Experience in creating KPIs
Large ERP experience
ERP implementation experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience dealing with customizable AR/invoices and capable of consolidating them
Ability to work confidently with assertive sales people
Attention to detail, especially in manual billing processes
Work Environment
This role follows a hybrid work schedule, with 2 days remote and 3 days in the office. You must be in the office on Wednesdays, with flexibility outside of that. Training is conducted onsite and typically lasts 2-3 months. You will be trained by the previous AR Manager and other team members. The office has a very close-knit culture, with accounting appreciation weeks and team events. Our team is pet-friendly, and dogs are allowed in the office. There are ample opportunities to advance within the accounting department, which consists of 20 people across AP, AR, and GL teams. You will also be involved in an ERP implementation project scheduled for the end of the year into 2026.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
10% potential bonus (7% is based on if you hit your goals, 3% is if company hits their goals) 10 days of PTO (accrued) 2 floating holidays, 10 holidays
