Description
Applied Technical Services Inc. The Calibration Department specializes in the calibration of precision measurement and test equipment of various types. Our Calibration Department is currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Operations General Manager to be based at our new Greenville, SC Calibration branch office.

Summary:
The Calibration Operations Manager has the overall responsibility for planning, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of all technical and operational activities as well as management of all calibration staff members at ATS’ Greenville, SC Calibration Branch Office.
Responsibilities:
· Guides employees in their day to day responsibilities.
· Has management control over equipment and personnel.
· Responsible for assisting inside and outside sales teams with marketing of Calibration services.
· Works directly with customers on services related to Calibration.
· Manages all services and supplies with the highest quality and safety.
· Enters into agreements regarding supply of employer’s services and the purchasing supplies and equipment to assure delivery of requested services.
· Has the authority to hire personnel for Calibration services.
· Recommends and conducts terminations of Calibration personnel.
· Has the knowledge and ability to calibrate most of the equipment assigned to the department.
· Evaluates growth opportunities for the Calibration Department.
· 5 years of related experience in the calibration of precision measurement and test equipment
· 5 years prior management experience.
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
