THIEL COLLEGE Assistant Athletic Director - Internal Operations in Greenville, Pennsylvania

The Assistant Athletic Director -- Internal Operations will provide primary oversight and monitor the day-to-day activities of all sports and staff to ensure compliance with assigned NCAA bylaws, PAC bylaws, and Thiel College policies. Additional responsibilities include overseeing, directing, and managing facilities requests, department budgets, academic success, recruitment, retention, and student-athlete experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Compliance & Student Success: • Provide direct oversight of education, interpretation, monitoring, and enforcement to ensure compliance with Thiel College, NCAA, and PAC policies and procedures. • Support the completion of required NCAA reports and student-athlete surveys. • Manage and track athletic department recruitment, enrollment, and retention data. • Coordinate academic performance information and mid-semester academic progress reports for the athletic staff. • Work with campus partners to develop and administer academic enhancement strategies that increase student retention and academic success.

Facilities Management: • Assist with and coordinate high-quality athletic department events. • Maintain & manage the athletic facilities calendar for Thiel College and outside groups.

Business Operations: • Maintain & manage departmental budgets. • Manage game contracts.

Other: • Serve as a member of the Director of Athletics Leadership Team. • Follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA, PAC, and Thiel College. • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Applicants are required to have: • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent. A master's degree is preferred. • Experience working in college athletics at an NCAA institution or conference office. • Competence in athletics management and leadership, an understanding of student-athlete development, and a deep commitment to the values the College promotes. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Experience working with NCAA systems and FrontRush.
