What you will do
As a Senior Wiring Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and activity coordination for the wiring harness and development lab. This will include lab work scheduling, prototype harness manufacturing, modification and verification, harness component and tools inventory control, vehicle level circuit troubleshooting, and wiring repairs. You will also lead change implementation within the lab.
Additional Responsibilities:
Act as the Engineer responsible for the wiring harness design verification.
Support development of verification and validation plans for electrical wiring designs.
Involved in supporting PI planning activities for the wiring harness lab.
Author technical reports and provide corrective solutions and recommendations resulting from validation activities.
Provide inputs on inventory, investments, and process flow as it related to the wire harness lab.
Collaborate with Wiring Harness Engineers and suppliers with recommendations for design changes.

Who are you?
You are a Senior Engineer with a high level understanding of circuit functionality, vehicle functions, wiring harness components, lab tools, wiring harness manufacturing processes, and circuit level troubleshooting techniques. Your technical skills combined with your leadership skills make you a great team member. You are a creative thinker and enjoy solving complex problems. You are seeking a role where you can work in a global organization leading meaningful work towards a sustainable future.
Additional Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred.
5-8+ years of related experience.
Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle electrical wiring design.
Proven hands-on experience with troubleshooting vehicle harnesses, knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle electrical systems and relevant test equipment.
Prior experience with Saber Harness or similar wiring harness design tools.
Ability to travel domestic and international.
