An amazing family owned company with great stability is looking to add an experienced Procurement Specialist to their team. Do you have SAP knowledge, experience in commodities, part number management, and experience analyzing inventory? This direct hire opportunity would be a great fit! We are actively interviewing for this 1st shift opportunity in GREENSBORO, NC
salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for ensuring that the Drop Ship parts and MRP are performed according to the SOP.
Main responsibilities:
Receive Internal Quote Requests from Customer Service
Enter new Items into SAP
Requests quotes from vendors for Drop Shipped parts.
Update Customer Service quotes with pricing
Notify Customer Service when the pricing has been updated.
Keep Customer Service advised as to the status of the quote requests.
Place a Purchase Order with the vendor when an order has been placed for a Drop Shipped part.
Audit and update status of open Purchase Orders
In time
Run the MRP every morning.
Update Min/Max levels to reflect current demands.
Write work orders for needed “Make” parts.
Write Purchase Orders for Needed “Buy” parts.
When costs of a part change update the list price to reflect the additional cost per the GM's directive.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Attendance and punctuality are a must.
Proactive nature, work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under deadlines.
Highly organized.
Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness and capacity to learn SAP functions.
