Actalent Quality Control Technician in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Description:
Complete daily Microbiological, Analytical and Sensory Testing of environmental samples, finished products and intermediate materials to meet necessary release criteria. This role serves as a key member of the Microbial Daily Management program, including daily sampling of converting lines and ancillary equipment.
Quality Systems understanding and assist with implementation of any new systems or validations
Incoming material identification testing of raw or intermediate materials
Perform daily Micro, Analytical and Odor labs
Aseptically processing Raw, Intermediate, and Finished Products samples for applicable microbial tests
Reading microbial test results and performing selective or differential tests as needed
Complete data reviews and release of formulations for production
Troubleshooting, maintaining and calibrating equipment, such as: pH meter, FTIR UV/VIS spectrophotometer - identification and quantification and HPLC
Assist with training and qualification of new QC Techs
Lead investigations of corrective actions or out of spec results
12 hour shift schedule
6am to 6pm OR 6pm to 6am.

Associates or Bachelors Degree in the Sciences preferred
Hands on Lab Skills within the Chemistry and Microbiology lab
Aseptic Technique
